What are our goals tonight? To continue the process of developing a long-range parking plan for A&E Dist. To get a progress report from Lanier Parking on the parking study they are conducting. To get input from the public.

Why Now? The City’s new 5-year Strategic Plan Recent formation of the new Wilton Drive Improvement District New cooperation from FDOT regarding potential narrowing of Wilton Drive Increased parking fees will help build up funds for improvements Opportunity to coordinate with the City’s upcoming Economic Development Plan

Statistics 453 total City-controlled parking spaces 201 – City Hall/Hagen lot 43 – Richardson Park lot 42 – NE 8th Terrace lot 167 – On-street meters Includes 30 Smart Meters Recently ordered Smart Meters to replace old meters Recently purchased lot at NE 23rd Drive & 11th Ave.

Statistics 300,000 to 350,000 Meter Transactions Annually Average transaction about $1.50 Metered Parking Revenue $500,636 in FY15 Total Revenue $703,608 includes citations, events, park permits All revenues are after sales tax – 6% goes to the state

FY15 Revenue $703,608 @$1.00/hour FY16 - $911,100 @$1.50/hour Projected annual profit, next 6 years: $340,000 per year $2.1 million over the next 6 years
