A Peek At Our Week Reading Math May 23 – May 27 Math We have started unit 11 which focuses on geometric solids, volume, capacity, and subtracting and positive and negative integers. Remember to practice your multiplication and division facts daily! Reading We have been reading some popular Greek myths and learning about common phrases such as “a Herculean effort” and “the Achilles heel.” This week we will be comparing some popular myths and discussing their meanings and themes. Writing We will soon be wrapping up our informational writing pieces on an important person from Pennsylvania’s history. We have worked hard all year constructing narratives, persuasive, and informational pieces! Social Studies Our next unit in social studies will focus on the Western region of the United States.
