Capacity Planner - Position Profile Role Summary The Capacity Planner is responsible for the creation of the national weekly production and distribution plan. The Capacity Planner is a headquarters-based role currently within the Supply Chain Optimization team. Using i2's Supply Chain Planner (SCP) technology, the planner performs the Capacity Planning business processes to generate potential solutions, evaluate results and communicate/facilitate the execution of the plan. The capacity plan is provided to Frito-Lay Purchasing and Product Supply, and is the critical feed for the Purchasing deploy and make signal. This results in a least cost sourcing and replenishment solution that provides maximum service to sales in the most efficient manner possible. Key Focuses Of The Capacity Planner Include: Collect & input accurate data and parameters into the Capacity Planning models Produce an optimal and feasible capacity plan using the I2 SCP engine Communicate with the organization to adjust the solutions as required Align with Purchasing to develop an accurate make and deploy signal Provide support for other ad-hoc what-if analysis Support field reporting needs and executing development of ad-hoc data requirements Requirements: Commitment is for 8-9 months Weekly hours required = 30-35 *All interested applicants must submit a resume via www.pepsicojobs.com (keyword - Capacity Planner)
