The Pattern of prayer Matthew 6:5-14

The pattern that makes an effective game changing prayer.

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:7-14

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,     neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth,     so are my ways higher than your ways     and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

He is above us and so are his ways. He is not limited but we are He is All powerful, we are not He is All knowing and we are not He is All present and we are not He is All faithful and we are not He is All merciful and “we want pay back”

“Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” Part #3 “He is King”
