Shaun the sheep (stopmotion) Shaun the Sheep is fit for purpose (entertainment for young children) because many of factors that catch the eyes of young children (target the audience) for the series. For example, Shaun the sheep is comedy and in the same time makes the audience (likely children) laughs a lot because of the funny actions of the characters. It is animation type of stopmotion and when the company release Shaun the sheep it takes those very long periods to edit and make the characters look professional. Also, they were spending time on photographing the animation because in 1 second they need to add 30 frames. It shows sheep's in the farm Each episode duration is about 6-7 mins depends on which episode. Most of the audience especially children's they watch Shaun and sheep and they enjoy it more than watching cartoons that might fid up with it. The series is fit for the purpose because it’s simple, easy to understand and complex to younger viewers. The Intended effect on the audience is by Shaun the Sheep clip actions when it happens in episodes of Shaun the Sheep. Also, the rendering, sound track takes part of this action and it cause an image to the audience that what is happening in every episode. For example, Shaun is a confident sheep and he is so clever, can do or know anything. And that’s can effect on the children's mainly. In addition to this, Wallace and Gromit is similar to Shaun the sheep. However, the story and characters is different than Shaun the Sheep.

Shaun the sheep (stopmotion) Strengths Weaknesses Its 2D and 3D animated, it allows group of different camera angles when filming the animation Shaun the sheep takes long time to film and edit Each episode is 7 minutes because they made it of lots of mini clips and limited frames. Every clip of Shaun the sheep last only 7 minutes so the young children don’t get fed up of watching the episodes. Shaun the Sheep does not have spoken dialogue because sometimes it be hard to understand or follow the action of the episodes. The cost of Shaun the Sheep is approximately about 11 pounds and it is acceptable price

Shrek 4 (CGI 3D) The Purpose of the movie Shrek is American computer animated and its fantasy comedy film That has been created for young children. The film was animated as 3D view and it takes long time to make it because the film characters has been designed and created from CGI programs, they don’t look similar to any people who are in the world. The film was made to draw the happiness on the young children faces. Shrek background is fade effect that adds some motions to the graphics of the film, the main characters is made up into the scene motion capture computer graphics. For example, Eddie Murphy is American comedian has set in Shrek be the character Donkey Shrek has got good special effects and they give a fantastic standard view. It was made of range different camera angles, rendering a 3D model, has very high quality of audio soundtrack and resolution. The movie has fade effect and it add more accuracy to the film. Shrek running time is 93 minutes , Mike Mitchell the man who directed the film , the story was written by Josh klausner and Darren lemke. In addition to this , Shrek is from DreamWorks company production and its one of the biggest companies in the worldwide for producing films . click here to watch Shrek 4 trailer

Shrek 4 (CGI) Yes it’s fit to the purpose of the animation because it fit into the movie and the audience enjoy it a lot specially the children they like the movements of the film that is such an action. The young children are the biggest number of the audience in worldwide who watch Shrek because it has based on mainly young kids who are below 9 years. Lots of children are scared from the character Shrek because he has action and when he be angry on some characters in the movie he make sort of fight. Also he has taken part in romance and comedy categories. Intended effect on the audience by Shrek when the audience is scared from Shrek action. Young children get affected by lot of scenes and they can imagine and create for them an idea to what's happening between Shrek and the other character. The intended effect on audience is happening in different ways sometimes in romance and comedy. For example, when Shrek meets Princess Fiona they start talking together and they make their action a sort of love and romance. Also, when Shrek meets Donkey they make comedy action which laughs the audience of the funny odds.

Shrek 4 (CGI) Strengths Weaknesses 3D animated, it gives a different view effect. Has to be created from a scratch drawing on the computer Shrek was created as CGI animated in computer and was programmed successfully. Shrek took along time to make animation movie and this is because it was created in 3D animated software which need time to improve the movie movements. Shrek animated hybrid with background plate that has a professional view when it changes in the movie to different camera angles. It need a big plan and that could take years to develop the idea and release it which is not easy.

Comparison between Shrek 4 & Shun the sheep Shrek 4 is a movie presented as 3D which means represented in three dimensions and they are height, width and depth. However Shaun the sheep is made with 2D that presented in two dimensions. For example, if we had one dimension to work with, we can only move it forward and backward in line. The difference between CGI and stopmotion : Stopmotion is a series of photos that been taking with high definition camera. For example, football player is kicking the ball, the director move the player step with ball while the background behind the player, and by this they take lot of shots so to make the animation and each frame needs 10 pictures to make the animation film clear for the audience. CGI is computer generated imagery , that creates a 3D animation movies in high definition. It’s a software that creates characters that not in the world and animate them in clear asset. Now a lot of movies use CGI software so they create such like cat but it speaks a language like sometimes English, Russian and other. Also, the program has a feature that you can design the character and the designer can use it in movie to use it as real character. In addition to this, audience like both animated films because they are quite mixture of comedy and action which might meets the audience needs. Also, the target audience likes the films with more action and comedy that created with high definition quality such like 4K so all the companies that creates movies they first listen to the audience to get idea what extra features should the company have in the movie.
