Month 1: Introduction of Production and Die Build Week 1: Introduction of GNS America Introduction of company/staffs, company regulation Introduction of community, lodging and transportation… Introduction of stamping process Week 2: Understanding of stamping parts production Cold stamping operation Hot stamping operation Laser and welding operation Quality System (Outline of TS & ISO, Quality Lab, Quality Procedure from material receiving to shipping) Week 3: Understanding of stamping business Sales & Quotation Program Management/APQP Visit customers plants and GNS subsidiaries plants (MTW & Kenowa) Weeks 4: Understanding of Die Build CNC Machining Die build (Cold stamping/Hot stamping die) Simulation/Strip Layout
Month 2: Experience at Production Department Week 5-6 : Cold Stamping Operation Experience an operator or assistant at the cold stamping lines Experience points 1) Cold stamping parts manufacturing process 2) Basic knowledge of presses and other equipment related to stamping process 3) Role of press operators, die setters 4) Check points for quality parts 5) Self maintenance points and 5S 6) Suggestion for improvement Week 7-8 : Hot Stamping Operation Experience an operator or assistant at the hot stamping lines 1) Hot stamping parts manufacturing process 2) Basic knowledge of Hot stamping press and related to process equipment 3) Role of press operators
Month 3: Experience at Production Department Week 9-10 : Welding & Assembly Operation Experience an operator or assistant at the welding & assembly line Experience points 1) Welding & assembly process 2) Basic knowledge of welding technology 3) Other assembly method for stamping parts 4) Basic knowledge of welding and assembly equipment 5) Role of operator 6) Check points for quality parts 7) Self maintenance points and 5S 8) Suggestion for improvement Week 11-12 : Receiving &Shipping Experience an operator or assistant at the receiving & shipping area 1) Basic knowledge of material (steel coil) specification with physical properties 2) Material receiving inspection 3) Process for coil storage and coil load to presses. 4) Understand of Work In Process 5) Shipping procedure 6) Documentation for shipping 7) Role of material receiving coordinator and shipping coordinator
