APPLYING FOR RECOGNITION Chapters On-line applications can be used for state/chapter awards, independent of the National recognition process.
APPLYING FOR RECOGNITION Regional and National -Chapter winner applications are forwarded for Regional ballots. -Chapter Awards Chair must submit this form. -National office receives the form, verifies an on-line application is present and dues are paid. Office then forwards applications to the chapters in appropriate region for balloting. We highly recommend that states use the on-line application, even for their chapter awards. It makes it easier to apply for regional and national awards because ultimately on-line application must be submitted for all national ESP recognition. The National Recognition Form must be completed to identify all of the chapter’s nominees.
Check out the ESP Annual Calendar Calendar Due Dates Check out the ESP Annual Calendar Calendar dates including deadlines can be found on the yearly calendar posted to the website on the left hand side. Additional upcoming deadlines are also noted on the right hand side of the website with a link to more information.
RECOGNITION: BY BALLOTING Chapter Ballots for Regional/National Recognition are Due Mid May Examples of voting and balloting process by each chapter: Each chapter can choose their state awardees in any manner. For regional/national awards, each chapter President is sent an email with the application files of their region’s and the national applications. It is up to the chapter to determine how they cast their vote on awards for the regional and national awards. The deadline to submit Chapter ballots will be in Mid May.
DON’T FORGET Your chapter votes on regional and national awards. Take advantage of this opportunity! Make you and your state shine! The number of chapter members determines the number of votes your chapter has in recognition balloting! And total membership is determined by the number of Active and Life members enrolled and dues received by the National office o February 1 of each year. In Mid March, a link on the on-line ballot and a webpage where Recognition applications can be viewed will be sent to the Chapter President from the National ESP office. Your chapter decides how they will cast their vote(s). If you don’t vote, your own chapter nominees may not get selected! This has happened in the past so be sure to take advantage of your opportunity to vote.
