5/23/2018 Additional Features of WordPad Basic Format Text/Objects In A Document - accessed by using the Toolbar buttons or the File menu commands Format - alters appearance of text by changing the kind of font/point size/color Bullet Style - adds/removes emphasis with bullet Paragraph - sets left/right indention; aligns by placing the paragraphs to the left/right margins or centering between the margins Tabs - sets tab positions on the ruler, otherwise the tabs will be set every 1/2 inch Note: You may also click on the ruler to set the tab(s) or drag the tab(s) to a different position (even off the ruler to remove the tab(s) 7

Using Paint’s Drawing Tools 5/23/2018 Using Paint’s Drawing Tools Editing Paint Objects PICK a Tool Box - click on a TOOL PICK a Color Box - click on a color DRAW - place the CrossHair mouse pointer in the top-left starting point in the palette, then drag to the desired size; to keep a shape proportional hold the SHIFT key down before dragging EDIT - click a selection tool, then highlight a portion of the screen by dragging the selection tool over it; then proceed to MOVE/COPY/DELETE or RESIZE or use the IMAGE menu to FLIP/ROTATE/STRETCH/SKEW 7
