Emergency Response Teams Members of each ERT will learn special science and math skills. Can you work under pressure and help advise the people of Montserrat? What actions will you suggest the people of the island take to prepare for this possible emergency? Each e-Mission's success depends upon the ability of our partners - partners like you and your friends. First, you must form Emergency Response Teams, or ERTs. Members of each ERT will learn special science and math skills. Can you work under pressure and help advise the people of Montserrat? What actions will you suggest the people of the island take to prepare for this possible emergency?

Space shuttle will lift off Upgrade the LEO satellite Mission Day Space shuttle will lift off Upgrade the LEO satellite Begin real-time data download Teams calculate seismic data, and the storm’s time of arrival On mission day, you will watch with us as the Space Shuttle lifts off and astronauts upgrade our Low Earth Orbiting satellite. If all goes well, the satellite will immediately begin broadcasting. We will receive data about the volcano on Montserrat and any tropical storms in the area. Your teams must be prepared to analyze this data. Throughout the e-Mission, you will be able to see and talk to us here in Mission Control. We will work closely together. Good luck with your application.

Good Luck!
