After Hurricane Sandy, the Jersey beach communities had to replenish the beach sand and create dunes. The storm had washed the sand and dunes away.

After restoring the sand the beaches were larger After restoring the sand the beaches were larger. The distance between the water and the boardwalk was much wider. How did they make the beach larger?

What is the purpose of planting grasses on the dunes? Ocean City, NJ

Where was the 6.0 earthquake that occurred last month?

What was unique about this earthquake?

Over the summer the trees on the North Wales Rd side of Pennbrook were cut down. What could be a reason the school district did this?

What do scientists think caused over 292 earthquakes in Oklahoma?

This hurricane had maximum sustained winds of 160mph on Sunday afternoon (8/24) making it a category 5 hurricane. What is its name and what area of the world did it effect?
