Students feedback on the project….. "I found the Beijing assignment to be the most challenging and rewarding project, with a real feel for how the industry operates on an international scale. Considering the elements of a brand launch from both UK and international viewpoints was a really educational experience and has taught us the value of amazing team work and how integral communication is to a successful project." Level 5 International Fashion Promotions student

Students feedback on the project….. "For me, the Synergy assignment was one of the most stimulating as it was not only my own work, but the work of my group and our Beijing counterparts. I found the process really interesting, and through my section on the UK launch, I was able to explore the creative elements of the project." Level 5 International Fashion Promotions student

Students feedback on the project….. "I found the Beijing assessment really interesting and beneficial in understanding how the industry operates. It helped me understand how a brand launch would work and the extensive analysis of the fashion market. Communicating with students from Beijing has been a great experience - it was really fun learning about their culture." Level 5 International Fashion Promotions student

Example of factors to consider:- Footnote to the students – helpful hints and tips Example of factors to consider:- The Launch: To help you to understand this process it is suggested that as a group you identify an existing promotional campaign on a product and ‘de-construct’ it to find the brands success. You can then establish your launch campaign and ask these questions to help you: How will this be done? What processes are involved? What city will it be launched in? How does the brand consumer fit within each parallel market? What differences are there? How will this change? Will entry into a new country affect the brands identity? How will it be advertised? in addition how will it be marketed? Etail or Retail? Media campaigns? Celebrity endorsements? Target markets? Launch venues? Culture v commerce? What barriers have you to consider and overcome? Communication between groups? Different time zones, so think about how this will affect your work and time plan. Take into consideration the time factors, and climate zones. How will your group be managed, will you nominate a group member to project manage?
