PROUNOUNS

A pronoun is a word that REPLACES a noun. What is a pronoun? A pronoun is a word that REPLACES a noun.

(That would be pretty boring….and annoying!) If we had no pronouns, we would have to use nouns again and again in sentences. (That would be pretty boring….and annoying!)

EXAMPLE: Robbie put Robbie’s book on Robbie’s desk and took Robbie’s lunch out of Robbie’s bag.

Here are some examples of pronouns: I, you, he, she, it, we, they everyone, someone, nobody their, itself
