Partnership: FYAP and FamilySource FYAP and Family Source counselors are to work with students from DCFS DataMatch list and CalPads. FYAP Counselors are assigned open court cases and Family Source are assigned voluntary cases. Transferring cases: On a monthly basis, FamilySource will provide a list of cases that have transferred from Voluntary to Open Court status. FamilySource and FYAP PSA Counselor are to consult and release CAA assessment. If FamilySource has completed the CAA assessment, FYAP is to mark “Yes- transferred-completed” on SOS log caseload tab. If FamilySource has not started a CAA assessment, Family Source is to mark “No”. FYAP Counselors are to mark “No” on SOS log, and complete the CAA. If FamilySource has started the CAA and not finished the CAA, FamilySource is to mark “In-Progress”. FYAP Counselors are to mark “Transferred-In Progress”, and complete the CAA.

FYAP Counselor: Jay Longo Counselor Spot Light Acknowledged by Arleta High School for outstanding work with foster youth.
