Ruth 4:13-22 – “So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son. And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the Lord, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. And Naomi took the child, and

laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David. Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron, And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab, And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon, And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed, And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.”

It Was a Time of Glory for the Groom I Corinthians 15:51,52 – "Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed."

II. Ruth and Her Wedding Experience – v.13 A. It Was a Time of Glory for the Groom I Thessalonians 4:16,17 – "For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.“ ₋ The Lord will see His plan completed, when we are with Him in glory

II. Ruth and Her Wedding Experience – v.13 A. It Was a Time of Glory for the Groom B. It Will be a Time of Grace for the Bride ₋ In Jesus, and through His blood, we are redeemed and accepted I Peter 1:18,19 – "Foreasmuch as ye know that we were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

III. Ruth and Her Worship Experience – vs.14-23 A. It Focused Itself on a Sovereign – v.14 ₋ God received praise for the transaction ₋ God established the plan that brought Ruth and Boaz together
