AWARDS COMMITTEE Shall select or accept nominees or candidates, evaluate their qualifications, and choose the awardees for various awards The Awards Committee shall submit to the Board of Directors, for ratification, its choice of awardees for the various awards as mandated by the Constitution and By-Laws

AWARDS COMMITTEE Chairperson Members

Program Committee Shall facilitate the activity’s programme which shall include the following: Program Sequence – to include the following highlights: (a) recognition and presentation of scrolls to honorees (jubilarians); (b) report of the AHS Alumni Scholarship Foundation, Inc.; (c) presentation of awards to outstanding teachers (if any); and, (d) presentation of alumni association awards

Program Committee Assigning of emcees for the program – must see to it that appropriate emcees be appointed as they shall be the ones to put life into the program. Establishment of appropriate time frames to be allotted for each program part.

Program Committee Ensure the preparation and accessibility of logistics for each program part, i.e., plaques to be awarded to honorees and other award recipients; props of presentors, etc. Takes charge of the presentation to be rendered by jubilarians.

Program Committee Chairperson Members

Reception Committee Shall ensure that alumni-attendees and guests are accorded the warm welcome and are properly ushered into the venue. Chairperson Members

Registration Committee Shall ensure proper recording of all attendees for documentation purposes as well as facilitate distribution and proper receipt of the souvenir program. Chairperson Members

Tickets Committee Shall take charge of ticket distribution to attendees and ensue submission of payments prior to the date of the affair. Chairperson Members

Food Committee Shall take charge of the following: Food quantity – good for expected number of attendees System of food distribution – sit down or buffet service with four (4) stations Number of waiters to be assigned per station Sales booths/ ponda Food logistics such as plates, spoons, fords, table napkins, water and other condiments

Physical Arrangement/Sound Shall take charge of the following: Ensure the physical set up of the venue – motif: Tables and chairs rental and arrangements (if needed) Microphones – 2 sets to be used by the emcees Speakers – 4 units to cover the entire venue Music and dances to be played during the affair – must be in accordance with the motif

Publicity Committee Shall ensure that proper announcements and advertisements are made prior to the affair. Must utilize tri-media publicity including streamers. Chairperson Members

Raffles and Prizes Committee Shall be in charge in the preparation of corresponding prizes for the raffles and games. For the games – to prepare 20 gift prizes worth PHP100.00 each. Chairperson Members

Souvenir Magazine Committee Advertising Group – Shall solicit advertisements for the souvenir magazine ensuring contract is signed and paid. Payment to be delivered to AHSAA treasurer for proper documentation within one week of receipt of payment. Shall provide the printer with the requisite format given by advertiser Shall coordinate with printer and advertiser to ensure correctness of content

Souvenir Magazine Committee Data Gathering Group Shall be responsible in collecting, reviewing and performing editorial roles on material for inclusion in the souvenir magazine: programme, officers and committees, editorial, AMNHSAA (anniversary logo, hymn, pledge, prayer), CAHS story, AMNHSAA constitution and by-laws, historical sketch of CAHS, history of CAHSAA, history of AHS scholarship foundation, president’s report, annual awards, annual special awards, president’s pin/ alumni pin, etc.

Souvenir Magazine Committee Coordinate with writers of articles/material to ensure integrity of content prior to printing Ensure that articles/ material submitted are ready for final printing after getting writers’ final okay.
