Apply Tawhid Spot the Difference Draw out that a key difference between Christianity and Islam is the use of images. Explain to students that the belief in the oneness of God means Muslims do not allow images or pictures of God because he is unique, there is nothing we can compare God to. So a Mosque will be decorated with geometric patterns or with verses from the Qur’an. They also do not allow images of Muhammad as he should not be worshiped as this would be idolatry.

Tawhid in Action Tawhid not in Action Summarise their understanding of how Tawhid applies to a Muslim’s everyday life by getting students to give examples of Tawhid in action and not in action.
