Stop-Motion Videos We can use stop-motion animation to create short videos that demonstrate how to make certain parts of a recipe. Great addition for your e-portfolios to integrate multimedia. Stop motion animation use a series of images, sequenced together and run back to create an illusion of movement. The objects need to be manipulated/moved in front of the camera and then a photo is taken. It creates an illusion of movement. Stop-Motion Animation Tips Object Moves in small increments 1 second of video = 10 still shots (10 is at the higher end, can be fewer depending on the speed you playback the video) The more shots you have the more your video will flow. Assignment For your blog, create a video. Due April 17th. Length: At least 20 seconds minimum Stop-motion or time-lapse or combination of both Can be made during class or at home with any of the recipes for term 3. Post with the blog post and describe in the post which component of the recipe the video shows. Work with a partner.
