The contributor also acknowledges and accepts that this contribution may be made public by IEEE 802.19. Patent Policy and Procedures: The contributor is familiar with the IEEE 802 Patent Policy and Procedures <http:// ieee802.org/guides/bylaws/sb-bylaws.pdf>, including the statement "IEEE standards may include the known use of patent(s), including patent applications, provided the IEEE receives assurance from the patent holder or applicant with respect to patents essential for compliance with both mandatory and optional portions of the standard." Early disclosure to the TAG of patent information that might be relevant to the standard is essential to reduce the possibility for delays in the development process and increase the likelihood that the draft publication will be approved for publication. Please notify the Chair <shellhammer@ieee.org> as early as possible, in written or electronic form, if patented technology (or technology under patent application) might be incorporated into a draft standard being developed within the IEEE 802.19 TAG. If you have questions, contact the IEEE Patent Committee Administrator at <patcom@ieee.org>. Steve Shellhammer, Qualcomm Steve Shellhammer, Qualcomm
September 2014 Abstract The purpose of this presentation is to provide a update to IEEE 802.11 on the Coexistence Lessons Learned presentation development Steve Shellhammer, Qualcomm
September 2014 Liaisons with 3GPP IEEE 802 and 3GPP have exchanged several liaisons in the last few months These liaisons are available on the IEEE 802 web page, http://www.ieee802.org/Communications.shtml In the emails between 3GPP and IEEE 802 it was suggested that IEEE 802 present its “Lessons Learned” on Coexistence at a future 3GPP meeting Most recently, this week another liaison was received notifying IEEE 802 that 3GPP has approved a Study Item (SI) on “Licensed Assisted Access using LTE” http://www.ieee802.org/secmail/msg17854.html Steve Shellhammer, Qualcomm
Coexistence Lessons Learned Presentation September 2014 Coexistence Lessons Learned Presentation The IEEE 802 Chair (Paul Nikolich) has requested that a presentation on Coexistence Lessons Learned be developed for presentation at a future 3GPP meeting The Chair has requested that the presentation be completed by the November Plenary session IEEE 802.19 has hosted meetings in July and September, as well as holding conference calls Several contributions have been prepared Updates have been generated based on discussions this week Results combined into document 802.19-14/68r2 Steve Shellhammer, Qualcomm
