GOALS!!! Learn how to navigate StudentLink for class registration Determine what classes you should take in the fall Plan for those classes in your schedule

Travel On Over to the StudentLink Go to bu.edu/studentlink Click on Academics Tab
Click on the “Registration” Link
Enter your Kerberos name (email) and password
Click On “Reg Options” Under Fall 2012 Yours will be blank
Click “Plan”
Select the college the course is offered (CAS, SED) Enter the department of the course (WR, ED, HI, PS etc) Enter the course number Enter the Section code (if you know it – applicable for WR100)
Check Box and Click Add to Planner
Click “Graph”
Use the “Graph” feature
Tips: Using your head! BU allows for 10 Minutes in between classes for travel time Avoid Conflicts (they will be written in red on your planner will be multicolored on your graph) Call me over with questions! If you wish to change your classes over the summer, contact Jackie Boyle (boylej@bu.edu)
Hit a home run on your APs, IBs, or external credits?? Call me over! Generally, BU accepts credit for 4 or 5 on APs / 5,6,7,8 on IB higher level courses Scores sent through http://www.collegeboard.org/ BU’s code = 3087 External credits are at discretion of individual departments Usually C or better, similar content
