Operation Management BUSI 13321 (KANBAN SYSTEM) - A CASE STUDY Done By TOYOTA PRODUCTION SYSTEM (KANBAN SYSTEM) - A CASE STUDY Done By Sama AlBaqmi Sajedah.A AlMarzouq

Meaning of “Toyota Production System” set of principles that have been proven in day-to-day practice over many years . TPS :~.. formed in 1950 based on Just-In-Time principle

TPS has three desired outcomes: To provide the customer with the highest quality, at lowest cost. To provide members with work satisfaction. It gives the company flexibility to respond to the market, achieve profit.

the process of designing the delivered output smoothly. TPS widely focus on eliminating waste during the production process. Waste of over production Waste of time Waste of transportation Waste of processing itself

Kaizen basic manufacturing process to serving the customer and the wider community beyond. required setting objective Teamwork Personal discipline Improve moral quality improvement

“JIT” Production which is 1. a business strategy that focus on reducing the cost 2. associated carrying cost in order to increase the return of investments

benefits of JIT Reduced setup time The flow of goods from warehouse to shelves improves Employees with multiple skills are used more efficiently Production scheduling Supplies come in at regular intervals production day Minimizes storage

Washing – is the cleaning stage of the production after the machine or the product has been made. Stock Store product is being ready Assembly line is the process by which the machine and workers are working together. Goods Store is the final stage of TPS in the “JIT” Production

Conclusion With all of these things on the production system of Toyota Motors JIT is one of the secret why Toyota becomes successful. Toyota’s production system is rarely one of the best since it was able to catch up with the changes in the modern technology and TMC was able to have good relationship with its clients and suppliers because of its amazing production process on its product.
