Room 111 News Friday September 23, 2016 Important dates: Next week’s Shine Student is Nate Week of 9/26: Catholic School’s Week- see the back for the GREAT details Sign of the Cross oral prayer test Wednesday 9/28: Interim Reports come home to those not meeting standards at this time Wednesday 9/28: Field Trip permission slips and $10.25 CASH due Thursday 10/6: Field Trip to Lynd’s Farm Important Information: For the prayer test, your child will be expected to use the correct hand motions and know all the words to the Sign of the Cross prayer. FYI: Be sure they know to use the right hand. There will be a Pancake Breakfast this Sunday in the SPX cafeteria to kick off Catholic Schools Week. It will be after the 8:00 mass until 12:00. It promises to be a lot of fun! We also will be having a CRAZY SOCK DAY on Thursday! Students may donate a $1 to support NF! So help this worthy cause and enjoy a fun sock day! Lynd’s Apple Farm – permission slips are in the packet. Please fill out and return the slip with $10.25 CASH-no checks- by Wednesday, September 28th. Parents are welcome to join us! Please include $6.00 adult cost with the permission slip. Also make sure the office has all of your necessary volunteer papers on file. LUNCH on October 6th. We will not be back in time for students to buy the regular lunch. Attached to the permission slip you will find the form for ordering a boxed lunch. Students may also pack and bring a drink. We will be doing random uniform checks! Please help us out by making sure that your child is following the dress code from the SPX handbook.
