DUA E TAWASSUL

دُعَـاءُ التَّوَسُّـل اُدعُ اِلى سَبيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالَّتي هِيَ اَحْسَنُ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبيلِه وَهُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدينَ Call unto the way of your Lord with wisdom and good exhortation, and reason with them in the best way. Lo! your Lord best knows those who go astray from His path, and He knows best those who are rightly guided. (Qur'an, 16:125)

O Allah, I beseech Thee, and turn towards Thee, اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ وَأَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَيْكَ O Allah, I beseech Thee, and turn towards Thee,

Through Thy Prophet, the Prophet of Mercy, بِنَبِيِّكَ نَبِيِّ الرَّحْمَةِ Through Thy Prophet, the Prophet of Mercy,

Muhammad, may Allah Bless him and his Progeny, and grant them peace. صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ Muhammad, may Allah Bless him and his Progeny, and grant them peace.

O Abal-Qasim, O Messenger of Allah يَا أَبَا الْقاسِمِ يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ O Abal-Qasim, O Messenger of Allah

يَا إِمامَ الرَّحْمَةِ O guide of mercy,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ O Abal Hasan,

O Commander of the Faithful, يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ O Commander of the Faithful,

يَا عَلِيُّ بْنَ أَبِي طالِبٍ O ‘Ali, son of Abu Talib,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يا فاطِمَةَ الزَّهْراءِ O Fatima Zahra,

يَا بِنْتَ مُحَمَّدٍ O daughter of Muhammad,

O Joy to the eye of the Prophet, يَا قُرَّةَ عَيْنِ الرَّسُولِ O Joy to the eye of the Prophet,

O our chief, O our mistress, يَا سَيِّدَتَنا وَمَوْلاتَنا O our chief, O our mistress,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكِ إِلَى اللّهِ And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهَةً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعِي لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبا مُحَمَّدٍ O Aba Muhammad,

يَا حَسَنُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ O Hasan, son of ‘Ali,

أَيُّهَا الْـمُجْتَبى O elected one

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبا عَبْدِاللّهِ O Aba Abdillah,

يَا حُسَيْنُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ O Husain, son of ‘Ali,

أَيُّهَا الشَّهِيدُ O Martyr,

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ O Aba Muhammad,

يَا عَلِيُّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ O ‘Ali, son of al-Husain,

O Zayn al-Abidin (The ornament of worshippers) يَا زَيْنَ الْعابِدِينَ O Zayn al-Abidin (The ornament of worshippers)

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبا جَعْفَرٍ O Aba Ja’far,

يَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ O Muhammad, son of ‘Ali,

O Expounder of knowledge, أَيُّهَا الْباقِرُ O Expounder of knowledge,

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبا عَبْدِاللّهِ O Aba ‘Abdallah,

O Ja’far, son of Muhammad, يَا جَعْفَرُ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ O Ja’far, son of Muhammad,

أَيُّهَا الصَّادِقُ O truthful one,

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ O Abal Hasan,

يَا مُوسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ O Musa, son of Ja’far,

أَيُّهَا الْكاظِمُ O suppressor of anger,

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ O Abal Hasan,

يَا عَلِيُّ بْنَ مُوسى O ‘Ali, son of Musa,

أَيُّهَا الرِّضا O contented one,

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبا جَعْفَرٍ O Aba Ja’far,

يَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ O Muhammad, son of ‘Ali,

O the pious one, the generous أَيُّهَا التَّقِيُّ الْجَوادُ O the pious one, the generous

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ O Aba Hassan

يَا عَلِيُّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ O Ali, son of Muhammad,

O guide (Hadi) and pure one (Naqi), أَيُّهَا الْهادِي النَّقِيُّ O guide (Hadi) and pure one (Naqi),

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا أَبا مُحَمَّدٍ O Aba Muhammad,

يَا حَسَنُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ O Hasan, son of ‘Ali,

O the pure one, the soldier أَيُّهَا الزَّكِيُّ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ O the pure one, the soldier

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

يَا وَصِيَّ الْحَسَنِ O heir of al-Hasan,

O (final) successor, O Proof وَالْخَلَفُ الْحُجَّة O (final) successor, O Proof

O awaited upriser, O Mahdi أَيُّهَا الْقائِمُ الْمُنْتَظَرُ الْمَهْدِيُّ O awaited upriser, O Mahdi

O son of the Messenger of Allah, يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ O son of the Messenger of Allah,

O proof of Allah over mankind, يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ O proof of Allah over mankind,

يَا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلاَنَا O our chief, O our master,

We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession إنا توَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا We turn towards thee and seek thy intercession

And thy advocacy before Allah, بِكَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْنا And thy advocacy before Allah,

We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God) وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجاتِنا We put you forward before (asking) our needs (from God)

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

O illustrious intimate of Allah, يَا وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ O illustrious intimate of Allah,

Intercede on our behalf before Allah. اشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ Intercede on our behalf before Allah.

HAJAAT

O my chiefs and my masters, يَا سادَتِي وَمَوالِيَّ O my chiefs and my masters,

إِنِّي تَوَجَّهْتُ بِكُمْ I turn through you,

my guides and rescuers, on the day of my helplessness أَئِمَّتِي وَعُدَّتِي لِيَوْمِ فَقْرِي my guides and rescuers, on the day of my helplessness

وَحاجَتِي إِلَى اللّهِ and my need, to Allah,

وَتَوَسَّلْتُ بِكُمْ إِلَى اللّهِ وَاسْتَشْفَعْتُ بِكُمْ إِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْتُ بِكُمْ إِلَى اللّهِ وَاسْتَشْفَعْتُ بِكُمْ إِلَى اللّهِ I seek your advocacy before Allah, and I seek your intercession before Allah

So intercede for me with Allah, فَاشْفَعُوا لِي عِنْدَ اللّهِ So intercede for me with Allah,

وَاسْتَنْقِذُونِي مِنْ ذُ نُوبِي عِنْدَ اللّهِ And (help to) deliver me from my sins, with Allah

فَإِنَّكُمْ وَسِيلَتِي إِلَى اللّهِ وَبِحُبِّكُمْ وَبِقُرْبِكُمْ For you are my mediums to Allah, and through your love and nearness,

أَرْجُو نَجاةً مِنَ اللّهِ عِنْدَ اللّهِ رَجائِي فَكُونُو I seek deliverance from Allah. So be my advocates with Allah

O my masters, O close friends of Allah, يَا سادَاتِي يَا أَوْلِياءَ اللّهِ O my masters, O close friends of Allah,

May Allah bless all of them, صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ May Allah bless all of them,

And may Allah curse the enemies of Allah وَلَعَنَ اللّهُ أَعْداءَ اللّهِ And may Allah curse the enemies of Allah

Who have oppressed them from the first and last مِنَ الاََْوَّلِينَ وَالاَْخِرِينَ ظالِمِيهِمْ Who have oppressed them from the first and last

Ameen (So be it), O Lord of the worlds. آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعالَمِينَ Ameen (So be it), O Lord of the worlds.

JANNATUL BAQII - MADINA
