Physical Assessment And Clinical Examination (PACE) 2017 Dates : 6th September, 12th September, 20th September, 27th September, 4th October, 9th October, 16th October 09.30 am to 4.30 pm (Exam: 23rd November 08.30 – 11.30) The Academy, Great Western Hospital, Swindon, SN3 6BB. MAXIMUM NUMBERS:15 Tuesday 29th August LH 2 Wednesday 6th September LH1 Wednesday 12th September LH 2 Wednesday 20th September SEM 6 (09.00 – 14.00) SEM 1 (14.00 – 17.00) Wednesday 27 September SEM 6 Wednesday 4th October SEM 6 LH1 Monday 9th October SEM 5 7 Monday 16th October SEM 6 Wednesday, 22nd November SEM room 6 EXAM 9.30 – 12.30 Thursday 23rd November 0830 to 1130 Lecture 2 This course is appropriate for those wishing to develop and enhance their skills of physical assessment in a systematic way. Other aspects of the patient assessment process are also considered, so it is advantageous to have knowledge of the broader aspects of patient assessment. Band 6 and above are encouraged to apply or those who work autonomously to assess sick patients. The course includes practical skills linked to physical examination, covering the various systems of the human body. The course runs over seven weeks, with an examination within 6 weeks of the last day of delivery. There is an expectation that students will devote time to study in their own time.
