In your book, you mention that the planet has no atmosphere or weather. Which type of rock will you not find on the planet? Explain. Homework Rocks test on Friday

Answer You will NOT find sedimentary rock because no weathering of rock can occur because there is no atmosphere

Conclusion If a 60kg granite boulder were broken down into sand grains and if quartz made up 35% of the boulder’s mass, how many kilograms of resulting sand would be quartz grains?

Conclusion Answer 35% of 60kg = 60 x 0.35 = 21kg
