Feedback Feedback We asked BV reps if their teachers/tutors had helped them to feedback the PPT following our meeting on 7th October . 10 said they did feedback to their class so……….. 50 house points will be awarded to the following teachers; Miss Richardson 5C Miss Clarke 6G Miss Parvez 7G Miss Donnelly 7P Mr Blagden 7S Miss Soriano 7W Miss Palumbi 8T Miss Nursoo 8S Mr Nicholls 10S Miss Stevens 10W

Homework Club Consultation Last term BV voted for a new name for Homework Club Study Zone & Aiming higher won and year 9 media students have been designing a new advert

Study Zone Consultation Buxton Voices voted for the “Study Zone” advert idea they liked like the most. The top 3 will then go to a vote by staff running homework club and be used to advertise Study Zone throughout the school, in Newsletters and on Social Media.

Children in Need Feedback Alfie W. (year 10) asked the school council if they enjoyed the school’s Children in Need Spotty theme on 18th Nov? A mixed response from both Primary and Secondary students. Alfie asked for ideas for the next Children in Need….

Children in Need Feedback Students would prefer to; Have a Non-Uniform Day Wear something Spotty Have competitions/games/Sports Spotty Decorations in school Bake Sale Have a Disco Use Parent pay for donations Have a Funfair Alfie confirmed that BV needs to be pro-actively arranging and organising the event next time round.

Student Interview panel Fahim (yr 9) fedback to the council that he and 5 other year 9 students were involved in the recent interview process for the new Deputy Head position. He explained that it was a very formal and smart process where they interviewed all candidates. “We were delighted that Miss Williams was successful and was appointed Deputy Head” [Cheers and clapping]. Fahim and the school council expressed their enthusiasm to take part in future interviews for staff joining the school’s community.
