Free write: Write for five minutes about a time you felt jealous Free write: Write for five minutes about a time you felt jealous. What happened? How did it make you feel? What ended up happening because of it?

Get into your presentation groups Run through your materials one more time before we begin presenting your information. If you have created a PowerPoint or materials that I will need to access on the computer for you, share them with me now. When you come up to present you will need to pull up any other materials that you have created for this presentation.

While presenting: Presenters Audience The information should be presented in a smooth and purposeful way Make sure that you are mindful of your time You should be paying attention and taking notes as we go along – this information is fair game to be on your quizzes/test Be engaged and attentive to your peers

Recap Act I Who are the main characters? What action have we seen take place thus far? How is Othello viewed at this point? How did Othello and Desdemona meet and fall in love? Where are the characters heading now?

Character Memes Now that we have met a good number of the characters you are going to create memes for the major characters. With your table groups you will create these with the character that I assign you. They need to be school appropriate, and you should be ready to share your meme with your classmates in 15 minutes.

Writer’s Workshop Instruction Sheet/Rubric Questions? Brainstorming: write non-stop for 10 minutes about the issues of jealousy that are already present in Othello, as well as any issues of freedom that you see present. You should continue writing for the full ten minutes.
