Hernan Cortes By: Allison Moreno 11-12-13

Introduction Hernan Cortes was born in Medillin , Spain. The country that funded the Exploration was Spain. The King of Castile sent the Explorer. The goal of the exploration was to led an expedition to conquer the Aztec Empire in what is now Central Mexico. He found an island & he found indigenous people living there first. The consequences of the exploration was that Hernan Cortes got arrested by the governor of Cuba & he fought them , & he won. He wrote letters to the governor saying that he was successful and that he didn’t do anything wrong.

Exploration Hernan Cortes was able to accomplish his exploration of conquering the Aztec Empire in what is now Central Mexico. But when he got there , he found indigenous people living there first. He got arrested by the governor of Cuba. He fought them and Hernan won. He wrote letters to the governor of Cuba saying that he didn’t do anything wrong & that his exploration had nothing to do with the governor.

Conclusion & Reflection What I learned about this explorer is that he was a very successful explorer & that he was a very hardworking person. I think he was very brave too. He fought for his rights & that he always tried to do the right thing.

Images & Extra Information of Interest He was exploring a lot. He claimed land. And a city was named by him. I thought he was very brave & very successful. He fought for his rights.
