School Hours Frederick Douglass Elementary AM-7:35 Am-10:50 AM PM- 11:35 PM-2:35 PM

All students are provided bus transportation Preschool bus equipped with carseats or seat belts for preschool Adults picking up students MUST be on transportation list and have Photo ID If necessary to pick up or drop off at school MUST use crosswalks. Changes to transportation take up to two weeks to be implemented CHILDREN LOVE RIDING THE BUS!

Attendance Children should attend school as much as possible but need to stay home if: Fever (must be 24 hour fever free) Vomiting Or other illness- we want to keep everyone healthy. Absentee line: 571-252-1921

Health Clinician: Mrs. Pierce ALL Medication must be delivered by parents, NOT IN BACKPACKS *PLEASE LET US KNOW OF ANY HEALTH CONDITIONS OR ALLERGIES- THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR US TO KNOW AND WE CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN.

Backpacks Students should have their own backpack they can carry on their back. Please label with their names inside. Check folder daily. NO toys or food from home. Please send in change of clothes first day labeled. ALL other supplies are provided by STEP.

NO FOOD FROM HOME PLEASE Meals AM students-Breakfast: 8:15 AM PM Students- Lunch: 12:00 PM Encourage eating at the table at home and practice with forks and spoons. NO FOOD FROM HOME PLEASE

Our Day 7:30/11:30-arrival/table toys 7:50/11:50-greeting circle 8:15/12:00- meals 8:45/12:30-daily lesson 9:00/12:45- story time 9:15/1:00-small groups 9:35/1:20-outside 9:55/1:40- water break 10:00/1:45- centers 10:30/2:15 clean up and pack up *LIBRARY ONCE PER WEEK
