Internship final presentation David SYLVA August – September 2016 David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

WHO AM I ? David SYLVA 47 YO. I HAVE A DEGREE IN ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION PROFESSIONNAL CAREER: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN DIGITAL MEDICAL IMAGING RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPUTER MAINTENANCE PROJECT MANAGER AND NOW: STUDENT IN INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE HERE FOR LATE STAGE OF STUDIES David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

STOCK MANAGEMENT. The establishment of an inventory management allows the increase of productivity David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

WHY Determine: when supply, the quantities to purchase Ensure the maintenance of the goods in good condition Optimize space Ensure employee safety Save money Avoid: out of stock; overstocking Find quickly and reliably what we need know at any time the state of the stock David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

FOR WHO Everybody. Interventions: Preparation: Allows to find a part quickly and know where it must be installed, or from a failure, find quickly the necessary spare. Preparation: Lets you know in real time the order status as a function of production forecasts, curative or preventive maintenances, gives costs information and prepare the preventive maintenance by reserving of spare parts… Many financials tools are also included in INFOR EAM… David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STOCK MANAGEMENT FOR FS. MAIN STEPS Create store for CO2 cooling system spare parts Identify different spare parts, used in systems: TIF, BPIX and FPIX Realize an inventory of used items Realize an inventory of items in stock Input all these data in the management software David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/10/2015

Create store for Fluidic Sections gas and cooling system spare parts. A ROOM (169/S-022) is now dedicated to our storage system with rack columns, shelves, and bins It allows to find quickly what you search. Spare parts are attached to a bin David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/10/2015

Final 27/09/2016 David SYLVA EP-DT-FS

Bar code stickers were generated, based on INFOR code with part name, manufacturer reference and bin number David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

Identify different spare parts, used on systems: TIF, BPIX AND FPIX. This list which is based on existing Excel files and technical drawings must be comprehensive and without duplicates. Realize an inventory of used items. Allows knowing the number of parts to be put in stock Realize an inventory of items in stock. Allows knowing the number of parts in stock based on several criteria Input all these data in the management software. Create a code structure to manage data in database and also code for classes and category, to have statistics later David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

Code structure Systems Classes XFCTF01-CR001 XF: SECTION IDENTIFICATION C: FOR COOLING IDENTIFICATION (G for gas for example) TF: SYSTEM NAME (TF for TIF) 01: VERSION OF THE SYSTEM CR: MANUFACTURER 001: NUMBER OF INSTALLED VERSION Classes XFCSYS : all cooling systems CATEGORIES HCXFFPIX, HCXFLUCA…(HC is required by the database) David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

Assets Classes XF: SECTION IDENTIFICATION XFMF01-CR001 MF: ASSET NAME (MF FOR MANIFOLD) 01: VERSION OF THE INSTALLED ASSET CR: MANUFACTURER 001: NUMBER OF INSTALLED VERSION Classes XFFPIX: FPIX system CATEGORIES HCXFLPU, HCXFMB…(HC is required by the database) XFMF01-CR001 David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

Classes Parts XFEH0002 XF: SECTION IDENTIFICATION EH: PART TYPE (EH FOR ELECTRICAL HEATER) 0002: MODEL AND OR BRAND OF PARTS (0001 for 1000W EH from WATLOW, 0002 for 750W EH from WATLOW, 0003 for 1000W EH from another brand) Classes XFMEC: For mechanical parts XFSEN: For sensor parts… CATEGORIES HCXFEH (all electrical heaters), HCXFFT (all flow transmitters)… David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

INFOR EAM David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

What is it? What can we do with? CMMS software (computerized maintenance management system). What can we do with? Equipment management Stock management Staff management Key Performance Indicators… David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

MTF and INFOR MTF and INFOR work on the same database It’s possible to retrieve in INFOR all the assets of gas systems created during construction back in 2005 and to add and manage spare parts David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

How INFOR EAM works David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/09/2016

What are the expected benefits Better management and cost reduction Improving the reliability and the availability of equipment Purchasing optimization Improved feedback Improving response planning Search ratio of preventive / corrective optimal Better control the activities of subcontractors and external service providers Improved inventory management Traceability equipment… David SYLVA EP-DT-FS 27/10/2015
