School Wide SIP Goal Student achievement on the Mathematics section of the ISTEP+ Assessment will increase on Spring 2014 ISTEP+, grades 6-8, from an average of 58% to 68%, and in the Free/Reduced Lunch Breakout group from 50% to 64%.

SMART Goal—Aligned with School Goal The number of 8th grade proficient students in the tiers 4 & 5 on 8.3.1 (Solving linear equations) will move from 43% to 70% by February 25th , as measured by the February Acuity. administered the week of February 21st.

School Based YEAR long SMART goal The # of algebra students below basic will DECREASE from 33—12 as measured by the Iowa Core assessment administered on or around April 15th 2015, focusing on real world applications of problem solving.

IPLT SMART Goal—Aligned to School Goal Increase # of 6th Grade students proficient from 37 to 70 in identifying special angles and use of parallel lines and their transversals by November 1st as measured by teacher created grade level common formative assessment administered October 24th and 25th

SMART-ER Team Goal The # of 4th Grade students moving to proficient on text analysis will increase from (ALL 64 to 84 / Special education 14—23) by February 28th, as measured by grade level common assessment, administered on February 21st.. Team will revaluate GOAL on February 23rd. (Additional time will be appropriated during RTI if needed March 1-5)

The percentage of Grade 6 students demonstrating mastery or above above in Narrative Writing will increase from 38% to 88% by October 30 (in 2 weeks) as measured by a team-created common formative post-assessment administered to students on October 23rd.
