DC motor and stepper motor

DC Motor A DC motor is an electric motor that runs on direct current electricity. Modern DC motors are nearly always operated in conjunction with power electronic devices.

Stepper Motor A brushless DC electric motor that can divide a full rotation into a large number of steps. DC motors rotate continuously when a voltage is applied to the terminals. Stepper motors effectively have multiple "toothed" electromagnets arranged around a central gear-shaped piece of iron. There are four main types of stepper motors: Permanent Magnet Stepper Hybrid Synchronous Stepper Variable Reluctance Stepper Lavet type stepping motor

Where are stepper motors used? On a car there are used for: Cars clock Window mirrors
