Aeronautical Facilities The term aerodrome refers to any area of land or water designated for the arrival, departure, movement and servicing of aircraft and includes all buildings, installations and equipment there. An airport is a licensed aerodrome, meaning it has met all airport safety standards. Level One 412.01 OHP # 1
