EXPLAINING PICTURE FORMATION SYSTEM EXPLAINING BASICS VIDEO SIGNAL By Sarbini, S.Pd (SMK Muh 3 Yogyakarta)

PICTURE FORMATION SYSTEM Process (method) picture formation from video signal until come up to be picture: Interlaced (displayed according to by turns between odd line and even every frame) Important matter in interlaced: Refresh rate suggested for method interlaced between 50-80hz. Interlace used at analog television system, cover 3 colour system: PAL (50 fields per second, 625 lines, even field drawn first) SECAM (50 fields per second, 625 lines) NTSC (59.94 fields per second, 525 lines, even field drawn first) Teknologi dan Rekayasa

2. Progressive scan, that is method to display picture every frame drawn alternately. Teknologi dan Rekayasa

Method second comparison that method progressive scan produces picture softer than method interlaced. Progressive scan's method is used on display with high resolution e.g. computer monitor that have resolution more than 1024 x 768 pixel so appearances on monitors unclouded more tend computer instead of common television display.
