Why you shouldn’t waste electricity! by ellie middleton

Unrenewable sources Some sources of energy such as coal will run out over time. Because of all of the electricity we use today, we are running out of coal so people are looking for new things to create power for electricity.

What will happen to the atmosphere? If we decrease the amount of electricity we use then we would reduce the pollution in our atmosphere. Therefore, there would be less smoke so our nature would be more protected.

The different types of electricity! There is more than one type of power. There is; solar power, wind power and hydro power. Solar power is powered from the heat from the Sun, wind power is obviously powered by wind and hydro power is water through a wind turbine. That is quite odd because water and electricity do NOT go together unless you want to make a fire.

Time for a ‘TRUE or FALSE?’: 1.There is only one type of power. FALSE: there are 3; solar, wind and hydro. 2.Coal is an unrenewable source of energy. TRUE: it will eventually run out. 3.Solar power is created by wind. FALSE: solar power is created by the heat from the sun.

Thanks for watching and remember; use only what you need! THE END!
