Gods Symbolism in Antigone By Bronte, Karim, Maximillion, Foss, Sonya, Lukas, Amir, Camille, Ariell, Sam and Catherine

Persephone -Queen of the underworld. -Daughter of Zeus and Demeter and mother to Dionysus, iacchus, and Zagreus. -Symbolizes seasons, spring and harvest. -Associated with pomegranates, bats, rams, and floral scents -Persephone is referenced in Antigone as a metaphor to Antigone because just like Hades captured Persephone and brought her to the underworld Antigone is being captured and brought to death by the laws of Creon.
