Aboriginal Education Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement Increase the level of health and wellness among Aboriginal Students. Increase the level of participation and knowledge of local culture Improve Aboriginal student/parent feeling of self worth and identity Improve the graduation/6 year completion rate of Aboriginal students First People’s Principles of Learning Learning ultimately supports the well-being of the self, the family, the community, the land and the ancestors Learning is holistic, reflexive, reflective, experiential and relational. Learning involves recognizing the consequences of one’s actions. Learning involves patience and time. Learning involves exploration of one’s identity.
