Mission Statement The mission of the CTRC is to provide quality affordable tutoring to students who need assistance and also invaluable teaching experience through tutoring jobs to UHCL students. The Center will also assist in organizing study groups and offers a supportive and open environment for cooperative learning and group work among the various distant campuses of UH system.

Project Objectives (Goals) Provide tutorial assistance to help students improve their performance in their classes. Provide learning support and guidance for special needs students: returning adults, culturally diverse students (including international students), the physically challenged etc. Encourage formation of study groups and create an open environment for learning and group work. Provide all kinds of useful links and resources pertaining to success in college and career.

Project Objectives (Goals) Provide job opportunities, training and experience for qualified students of UHCL as tutors at the CTRC. Work cooperatively with faculty and staff across the various distant campuses of the UH system to improve opportunities for students to be successful. Create a website to contain all the information, resources and establishing a link for communication between the students, their study groups and their tutors.
