Supply List Label each of your supplies with your name and the proper class Science- green spiral Social Studies- purple comp book Literature-yellow comp book Religion- blue comp book Math- red comp book Spanish- black comp book

Morning PROCEDURES Enter politely, prepare supplies, textbooks, notebooks, pencil, etc. Check lunch option on smartboard Turn in cell phone- turn it off as soon as you arrive on campus. I will return to you at the end of the day. Be seated- wait for attendance Listen and participate in morning announcements

EXPECTATIONS Respect yourself, others, and your surroundings Raise your hand to talk Get permission to leave your seat Complete assignments during the given time No gum Show respect in church for the Blessed Sacrament

CONSEQUENCES Verbal re-direction Renweb Demerit/Contact Parent Removal of priviledges Detention Parent Conference Suspension

Demerits You will be given a verbal warning You will be told that you are getting a demerit Demerit notification will be sent to parent 4 categories- behavior, procedures, dress code, tardy Teachers can give demerits at their discretion for violation of any area. Behavior violations include: talking, disrespect, and disrupting class Procedure violations include: going back to locker for supplies, not staying together when traveling, leaving trash, anything you KNOW you should be doing 4 demerits equals after school detention

Dress code violations include: being out of dress code per the student handbook Tardy violations are when you are not in the classroom with your whole class and the door is closed when you walk in, late to and from specials

Changing Classes STAY ON THE SIDEWALKS!! It is a procedure, you can get a demerit for being off the sidewalk Stay together as a class We don’t follow you to specials, it’s your responsibility to get there and stay on sidewalk! If another teacher tells us they saw you off the sidewalk, you will get a procedures demerit! No talking when walking through the elementary! Enter and exit through the proper doors- not the main office entrance

CHANGING CLASSES We will dismiss you to your next class If going to your locker, do so quietly Line up along the wall and not in the middle of the hallway Stay quiet!!

LOCKERS You have suggested locker times, but you may go to your lockers between classes in a timely manner Keep locker clean- we will have periodic clean outs Be aware of your personal space Do not get into other people’s lockers Go to lockers as soon as you arrive to school from 7:45-8:00 and use restroom Return to your homeroom at 7:55 bell

RESTROOMS Go as soon as you arrive to school Can go to restroom from class if it’s an emergency- do not abuse it No restrooms in class after lunch and recess- the 1:20-2:05 class Use restrooms when we return from lunch from 1:10-1:20

UNIFORMS Look at student handbook Shirts tucked in. Wear a belt! Shoes must follow handbook! White, black, or navy socks that can be seen Nike socks have to have a white, black, or navy sign Can wear navy or Pius sweatshirts (no athletic sweatshirts) Hoodies must be St. Pius! Be mindful of skirt lengths, 4 in, don’t roll up No non Pius stuff in class- outer wear not worn in class or during mass No colored hair. Boys must have hair out of eyes and above the collar.

UNIFORMS No hoodies that aren’t St. Pius! Need to wear a coat when it’s cold! If you are wearing a sweatshirt as a coat, it has to be St. Pius or navy blue. No outlandish hair décor. Leggings must go all the way to the socks- no tights! No hoodies that aren’t St. Pius!

FREE DRESS Nothing inappropriate Jeans, shorts, 4 in, skirts 4in Can wear any top -no tank tops, no inappropriate words No sandals, no cowboy boots, no flip flops Must wear socks and shoes-shoes can be Toms, neon colors, etc

ELECTRONICS etc. Turn in cell phones, or any electronics device at beginning of day. They will be locked up. Turn them off before you get on campus 1st offense- we take it and return at end of day and you get a procedures demerit 2nd offense- We turn it in to office and parents have to pick it up No toys or dodads allowed (slime, spinners, fidgets, etc)

HOMEWORK HW will be assigned most days HW is expected to be done and turned in on the assigned day No excuses for late or missed work Late work- 1st day late is 50% off, 2nd day late is a 0 Free HW passes may be given randomly by teacher discretion- good behavior, 100% on tests, no missing work, etc.

HOMEWORK Will grade work in class the next day- a peer grades it in colored pen and signs it I will try to give time in class every day to work on HW and ask questions. Not every grade will be put into Renweb!

WHILE YOU WERE OUT It is YOUR responsibility to get HW on days you are missing, not mine ! You have one day for each day absent to make up your work Your homework is collected by a peer. It can be picked up the day you are absent at the end of the day or the next morning at the office. Late HW procedure is applied to this as well.
