SO, WHAT DOES THE T STAND FOR? The T in LGBT means Transgender

What Transgender means A person's gender identity not matching up with the sex they were assigned at birth

GENDER IS A SPECTRUM

IT’S AN UNBRELLA Non-binary genderfluid Female to Male (FTM) Demiboy Agender Demigirl Androgynous Male to Female (MTF)

DO AND DON’TS DO: Ask pronouns Use a person’s preferred name Ask what pronouns/name to use around others e.g. Parents Treat them like you’d treat everyone else Ask where they got their really awesome clothes from DON’T: Ask their birth name (they’ll tell you if they want to) Ask what genitals they have Ask what bathroom they use COMPARE THEM TO CAITLYN JENNER
