Graduation requirements Complete the curriculum in determined load, e.g. pass all compulsory courses and the elective courses in the load determined by the curriculum and defend Bachelor`s thesis; From 2016/2017 there are no additional graduation conditions stated by the Tallinn University Study Regulations: BEFORE: student had to acquire English skills at level C1.2 in accordance with the European language study framework document NOW: student of Estonian language programmes have to acquire professional foreign language skills at certain level. Student of English language programmes can take any language courses as Open elective courses
Study Regulations As a first year student you must register for studies worth at least 23 ECTS credit points in the first semester by the deadline set in the academic calendar and pass at least 15 ECTS by the end of this semester. If you don’t follow these rules you will be deleted from the matriculation register.
Study Regulations Full-time and part-time studies In full-time study, a student shall complete curricular subjects a minimum of 45 ECTS credits per study year. If a student has less than 45 ECTS he/she will be transferred into part-time study. As a part-time student you won’t get any grants. In part-time study, a student shall complete curricular subjects a minimum of 30 ECTS credits per study year. If a student has less than 30 ECTS he/she will be deleted from the matriculation register. At the end of each study year, the University shall determine the study load of the student for the following study year, based on the results of the previous study period.
Study Regulations You have the right to be admitted to Autumn semester courses’ exams and pass/fail assessments up to two times till the end of spring semesters’ intermediate. You are allowed to take exams only at the time of exam period! When taking exam or pass-fail test, you must register yourself through Study Information System (ÕIS)! You can register for examinations or pass/fail assessments only if you do not have any unpaid tuition fees. If you have registered yourself for the exam or pass-fail test, but for some reason you cannot go, then you must unregister. You must do that at least 24 hours before the exam or test takes place! If you don’t pass the course after second time, you must re-take the whole course. After re-taking and still not passing the course you will be deleted from the matriculation register.
Do this week: TU user account and e-mail address because we send the information only there Register yourself for autumn semester courses and look at your timetable By registering student undertakes to sit an exam or pass/fail evaluation for the respective course. When you decide that you don’t want some course then it’s important to cancel the registration on time (latest 12.09.2016 until 5:00 p.m.), because you cannot register yourself more than 38 credit points in case you have not passed more than one course from your previous studies Don’t leave registration for the last minute because the ÕIS will be overloaded!
