University of Nevada, Reno school of Medicine (UNR MED) Part of the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) Approximately 280 medical students, 100 residents and PA students in the near future! With about 150 academic faculty, UNR Med relies on community (volunteer, adjunct, clinical) faculty to meet our educational mission Engaging community faculty in development activities can be daunting as we hesitate to ask even more time of our volunteers

OFFICE FOR COMMUNITY FACULTY (OCF) Partnership between UNR Med, Renown Health, and the Nevada State Legislature Created to support healthcare professionals (primarily teaching physicians) not paid by the school The OCF Team is responsible for… Facilitating credentialing and appointments Engaging community faculty in opportunities as educators Recruiting community faculty
