NUCLEAR FUSION Process of combining two light nuclei to form a heavier nucleus The process occurs at a very high temperature. There is mass defect in the reaction. Mass defect change to nuclear energy. This process also occurs on the sun surface. At the end of the process,it produces ; One heavier nucleus One neutron Nuclear energy
