Alliteration Definition- the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of closely connected words.

There is a repetition of “f” in this part of the song

Definition- a big exaggeration; usually with humor Hyperbole Definition- a big exaggeration; usually with humor

A million times is more than an exaggeration

Idiom Definition- an expression that cannot be understood from the meanings of its separate words but that has a meaning of its own

“Shake it off” just means to get over something

Metaphor Definition- comparing two things that aren't alike without using “like” or “as” suggesting they have something in common
