How many child soldiers are killed ? Over the last ten years, two million children have been killed in conflict.

WHAT IS A CHILD SOLDIER Child soldiers are any children under the age of 18 who are recruited by a state. or non-state armed group and used as shields, messengers, spies, or for sexual purpose and bomber.

FACTS There are an estimated 250,000 child soldiers in the world today. It is estimated that 40% of all child soldiers are girls. ... Child soldiers are recruited by government forces as well as rebel groups. Not all children take part in active combat.

When did it ? It started in the 1980s and is still going on.

Where did it start ? It started in the 1980s in African countries: Kenya Mozambique Somalia Congo

How is Canada helping ? Canada is helping by donating money to get them out and by signing a law/paper for no child soldiers and child soldier international ,cultures of resistance and human right watch.

Why did it start ? It started because so that they had more people to battel with and so the kids can spy on the other country's .

How is the church helping ? Pope Benedict XVI offered his public support to the United Nations' efforts to prevent the recruitment and deployment of child soldiers and said he prays each day for suffering children around the world
