Now, Let’s Read “Offerings at the Wall” on pg. 65 of our lit. book.

Answer the following questions in a complete sentence When did work on the Wall begin? Describe the first offering to the Wall. What is the name of the book about the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial? What does the book record? What happens to the gifts of remembrance that are left at the Wall? Where have 500 objects left at the Wall been placed? List 5 items that have been left at the Wall? What happened to the man in the photograph? What do the boots left at the wall symbolize?
