Mr. Swords A Quick Life History

I joined the US Army after I graduated from high school.

After the Army, I enrolled in Oakland Community College and earned an associates degree.

After OCC, I transferred to Oakland University where I earned my bachelor’s degree and teaching certificate in 1997. I was hired by Warren Consolidated Schools shortly after and have taught at Cousino ever since. Later, I went back to Oakland University to earn my masters degree. Since then I’ve also earned another 33 credits in various education classes.

I’m a huge Lions fan (I’m also a fantasy football nerd).

And an even bigger Tiger fan

I coached softball at Cousino for 9 years.

I coached wrestling for three years

Got married in 2003.

We had two boys. Aiden (now 10) and Collin (now 8).
