Planning a Disaster Recovery System

ETERE In Brief ETERE is deeply related to SQL server The distributed architecture provides high redundancy levels for partial system failure Etere provides Disaster Recovery capability to avoid broadcasting interruptions in case of entire site crash The disaster recovery capability is embedded in Etere solution

DS video files Replica on scheduling Main server Disaster recovery Wan Connection Main system

DS Database Replica every x minutes Sql Disaster recovery Sql Main Cluster server Sql Disaster recovery Replica every x minutes Disaster recovery Main system

Replica SQL replication relies on Etere special process this is part of F90 The Video replication use the scheduling for priority. Video replication is configured via Workflow The two systems can have different size The WAN connection has to be fast enough to allow the video transfer

ETERE advantages The 2 sites can have different size The WAN connection can have any speed If one item is missing the transfer skips to the next one Intelligent secondary site deletion avoids repetitive item transfer The Replica is based on multiple channels A single transfer handles multiple play-list

ETERE advantages Just one connection for both video and data Fully independent Ds site Ds sites may have no management The DS site can have its own archive system
