Email from examiner I would recommend using all three sources i.e. refer directly to them. The third source should be used to support either evidence 1 or 2. Candidates should refer to content and attributions in relation to evidence 1 and 2. They should attempt to explain why the interpretation has been formed. At the end of the response the candidate should say whether or not they agree with the given interpretation based on their discussion of the evidence. We would be keen to move away from a straightforward source evaluation approach to the question but in commenting on why the interpretation has been formed references to things like bias will be credited.
