ما هي modal verbs ؟ Modal Verbs can may must have to should

Can can can’t

أولاً: بمعنى يستطيع أو لا يستطيع (ability) Can She can do her homework هي تستطيع حل واجباتها Can’t She can’t do her homework هي لا تستطيع حل واجباتها

ثانياً: بمعنى مسموح أو غير مسموح (allowed) Can You can watch TV after 10 p.m. مسموح لك أن تشاهد التلفزيون بعد العاشرة مساءً. Can’t You can’t watch TV after 10 p.m. غير مسموح لك أن تشاهد التلفزيون بعد العاشرة مساءً.
