Introduction Motivation Aim Only 72 % of people who get liver transplant survive after 3 years. Blood assays does not provide enough functional information about the liver tissue for transplantation. Metabolic state is an important key marker for hepatic functionality. Aim To quantify the metabolic state of livers before, during and after transplant using optical imaging technique.
